Lead Market Research Specialist (m/f/d)
This role is responsible for capturing and analyzing global markets with regard to their regulations, environmental requirements and business-related influences on the power generation business. As an experienced market research specialist, you will support processes and provide compelling market data, including AI-powered data, to assess demand and derive sales opportunities. To complete the overview of global markets, it is essential to evaluate competitors' positions in various segments and their strategic moves, such as product improvement initiatives, product launches/go-to-markets changes, collaborations, mergers and acquisitions.
Furthermore, your responsibilities in this role include initiating and driving cross-functional projects, promoting regular marketing communications and information flow through various channels, e.g., newsletters, ad hoc information, news alerts, etc., and keeping marketing stakeholders updated.

Your Responsibilities:
- Responsible for providing compelling, fact-based content to evaluate existing markets, assess new market opportunities taking into account regulations and incentive programs, and consolidate the results/impact for INNIO Jenbacher's global gas engine functions (sales & service)
- Conduct detailed analyses and research by assessing regional and local regulations for power generation facilities, e.g., supplementary legislation utilizing external sources, e.g Bloomberg (BNEF), or business specific Data Bases
- Understand and interpret economic, political, and industry trends, initiate potential business development opportunities, and support the sales organization in the early stage
- Project Manager leads projects and collaborates with cross-functional teams to provide an overview of exciting and new regulatory aspects and incorporate the opinions of all stakeholders
- Continuously monitor the competitive environment, visualize strategic moves, and track financial performance and portfolio changes
- Develop marketing communication formats (e.g., digital newsletters) for regular distribution to internal stakeholders and external business partners
Your Profile:
- Master-/Bachelor's degree in economics, Marketing or Engineering
- Good knowledge of the power generation market and its supporting regulations for applications of cogeneration, district heating or biogas is expected
- Strong experience in communication, marketing or product management
- Independent work-style with the expectation of minimal guidance of less experienced co-workers
- Ability to understand complex relationships of incentive schemes and impact for INNIO´s Power Generation business
- Advanced editorial skills with strong technical expertise to articulate complex content with value propositions to customers
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office (especially in database management, pivot tables, statistical/math/financial functions)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to interact smoothly at all levels of the organization
- Fluent communication in English (verbal and written), additional languages are a plus
- Ability to travel globally as required (up to 10%)
The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 4.269,07 gross per month (x14) and an over payment depending on your qualifications and experience.
